Connect ssc32 and abb pro28

—cut all----
See my 2nd post, cannot wait to see these boards working together.

Thanks Wayne

I read thru the abb manual abb-01 v2 and my example hookup is the same as the 12 servo hexapod diagram except I am using 1 fsr 3-wire on the abb
My power source logic/servo is the same as the diagram
Will try baud rate is 115

The fsr is in ax0 and I jumpered the 5v
I have the same ssc rx to abb pin15 wire per this diagram and tx is unjumpered

Ok I went ahead and tried.

The 1 servo and 1 fsr on the ssc stopped working and the 1 fsr on the abb did not return any values. Both green lights stayed on.

When I re-jumper rx/tx on ssc. the servo and fsr worked properly again.

I also tried at baud 38400 and 9600 but did not help.

My goal with this is to run servos from ssc and fsr’s from abb pro28

Any help appreciated.
Thanks Wayne

How’s about some example code there Wayne…

Hi Jim, will try.

Does it matter where I run the force sensor resistors from, can i split them between the abb AX0-4 and the ssc abcd or should i attach them all to the abb and do only servos on the ssc? What is your suggestion.

Also I run my robot tethered usb to serial to the computer. Can I attach to either the abb or ssc ?

Thanks
