I am very interrested in de hexapot here on the lynxmotion site.
However I live in the netherlands and don’t know if it’s cheaper to buy it straight from the lynxmotion or via a dutch supplier.
Has anyone here experience from buying outsite from the US.
I also mailed lynxmotion 2 times but I got no responce.
is the only Netherlands distributor of Lynxmotion products that I know of, but they do not carry the SES parts. If Lynxmotion does ship to the netherlands, it will be rather expensive. Especially if you select 1-3 day shipping.
If you wait till Monday afternoonish, you can get a reply from Jim or Beth. They could possibly quote an estimate of how much it would cost to ship to the netherlands.
You pay for quality. Also, there are alot of parts and involved in a hexapod. These things add up fast. It’s actually a great deal over buying everything separately.
And SE|S stands for Servo Erector Set. They are the silver or black servo brackets that lynxmotion sells that you can use to build your own hexapod, biped or humanoid. Or just about anything.
We are not on vacation, we are just very very busy. Right now, I have, uh, 364 unread emails in my inbox. We get so many emails every day that it is almost impossible to keep up.
I will look for your email right now, and will have an answer out to you soon.
Well I think I will wait, maybe I can buy it second hand sometime.
But the price of € 762(1067dollar!!!)here in Holland, is a little too much difference.
As nobody can tell me what it will cost me eventually, I will not buy the bot.
Thanx to lynxmotion and people here that answered my questions.
I did answer your email, with directions on how to use the webstore to generate a price quote. Did you not receive the email? There will be import duties and taxes applied to the package by customs, but we cannot tell you how much these will be. You will have to contact your local customs office to find out how much these will cost, in addition to the robot.
