Haha, that’s evolution markus, simple things get more and more complicated or at least people make it complicate since they think that they have to follow the time and need tu use the up-to-date technology. People just forgot that things like your blinking LED also works without fance controllers or even quantum computers. The 555 is already a bit overkill…a simple flip flop will do the trick 
What comes after brain replica?
I noticed that even with tongues at the right angle it made no difference to the times for quantum computers and brain replicas.
It’s probably good if there is nothing after brain replicas as it would take more than one lifetime to light the led.
