Hi, I know absolutely nothing about robots. I am secretary for the Agricultural society and we have a 125th anniversary coming up. We thought it might be interesting to give the children a robot kit and have them build one for us. It is very hard to keep the children interested in Agriculture so maybe a demonstration of then and now would work. We have an extremely limited budget and rely on donations to help our cause but I would like some direction if possible. Could someone please help me figure out what I need?

There are not too many robots which come to mind when you say “agriculture”. Take a look at the beginner robot kits category.
The Tamiya R/C Controller kit and the Tamiya RC Construction Kit may be good places to start (team build). The Beetle Robot can be used to move “agricultural” products.
