Using an SSC-32 the minimum position value is 500 and the max is 2500, or 2000 steps from full left to full right with 1500 being center. If normal range of motion is 90 degrees either side of center, how does 1000 steps correspond to 90 degrees? Is each degree 11.1 steps?
The 500 to 2500uS poulses are over 180°, so the resolution is theoretically 0.09°. However the quality of the servo and it’s deadband will effect this. The true resolution for a generic servo is probably more like 3° to 5°. More info…
