30'' Stroke 400lb Force Linear actuator and supporting accessories

I am going to purchase one 30’’ Stroke 400lb Force Linear Actuator.
Please feedback to the items below:

1. Recommend a 120VAC to 12VDC power supply to work with this actuator.
2. recommend a control panel with remote start/stop buttons.
3. if item #2 above is available, do i still need the Actuator Electrical wiring and control kit (USD $18.98)?
