I powered the SSC-32U using a 12 volts dc supply, connected it to a computer through USB and connected 2 servos to it. I tried to run the servos using the sequencer on Windows.
The servos started jittering and both of the servos are now damaged.
My guess is that the servos you plugged into the SSC-32 are not setup to handle 12 volts coming into them. Most of them I have worked with are setup to handle 6v NIMH type batteries, which when fully charged may reach as high as 7.2v… I have also used LiFEPO4 battery which also appears to work fine with these…
Note: there are some other servos that are rated for even lower voltages…
