Litter Robot 2 Power issue

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Description: No power to my litter robot 2.

Hardware concerned: Litter Robot 2

Software concerned: N/A

Troubleshooting steps already taken: I have already replaced the PSU and Litter-Robot 2 Sensor Harness and I’m still not getting any power to the unit.
The circuit board looks to be ok. So I’m really not sure what else the issue could be?
Could the motor itself cause the robot to no longer power up, I would have thought it would have still powered up even if the motor was faulty?

Hi @jonandmarkuk !

It is good that you replaced the PSU and Sensor Harness. How do you know that circuit board is OK?

Is the control panel hot on touch when PSU is plugged in? Have you checked the power plug on the robot?

Theoretically, if there is a short circuit somewhere, in the motor for example, it could cause similar issues but you would notice that since it would be warm.

Maybe at the end you need to replace the circuit board.
