I have 3 Litter-Robot 3 units and two of them, with only a couple of weeks of difference, have had the same problem. The drawer is always full (blue light blinking). I have cleaned both just in case it was that (including the sensors, because some time ago it was that the problem), I have had both disconnected some hours… but the problem still remains. If I want a cycle to be done, I have to press the reset button, and then, after one cycle, the blink starts again (even with no drawer…)
We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robots.
Please try to clean the 2 green circuit boards of the DFI sensor with isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip to remove any rust or dust from the tiny pins of the chips located on these boards.
Here’s a video to help you locate the boards:
If you find this too complicated for you, you can send us the robots for repair under the warranty.
Sorry for taking so long. One of the two robots is at my mother’s home, and I could not check it until today. Both cleaned, and on both the problem remains…
