Another with Litter robot 3 blue flashing light then yellow flashing lights

Seems to be a very common issue on here with litter robot 3 having constant blue flashing light followed by yellow flashing light when reset is pressed and vice versa!
links on pervious replies don’t work. I have found ‘Litter-Robot 3 Open Air DFI Hardware (v2)’ on the website but it looks very different from the sensor I currently have and the video posted before showing fitting it doesn’t work. I don’t want to buy the wrong part!

My order number was 1087916 please can someone advise the part needed to fix my litter robot.

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Your robot is under warranty so the replacement parts are covered so there’s no need to order the sensor.

Regarding the issue you are having, have you tried to clean the 2 green circuit boards and the 2 plastic brackets of the DFI sensor using isopropyl alcohol and a Q-Tip to remove any rust or dust from them?

If not, please give it a try first and let us know if the issue remains.

Yes, we have tried to clean the sensors etc. We have taken the whole thing apart a number of times and cleaned everything and nothing has worked. If you pm me, i can send you our new address to send the parts to as we have moved.
Are we likely to need new connectors too? I have seen some posts recommending the connectors might need replacing also to fix this issue

In this case, the DFI sensor will need to be replaced so we will send you a new one under the warranty.

The pins might indeed need to be replaced so please provide us with pictures of the pins like the ones we are attaching below:
