Very Nice
Neat job looks better then the original. I would be careful with sparklers around electronics. You may end up with pits that don’t wash out.

That’s what plastic spoons are made for
When I was looking for parts for my robot I happened to see those plastic teaspoons. At that moment I immediately knew what those plastic teaspoons are made for. They are certainly not for eating or strring your coffee or tea…
Awesome and very cute. I
Awesome and very cute. I noticed he occasionally used his own head as a drum stick. Was that a happy accident or by design? Either way, an inspired drum machine!
1 replyHappy head banging
RuBo banging his head is a happy accident. I really didn’t think about that when I was building it. I moved SRF005 a little bit deeper into the “forehead” allowing the head to turn a bit more when playing. Pictures don’t really show the new SRF005 placement. It’s in new place in the last picture but the picture’s angle is a bit difficult to see it.
Nice bot!!! I wonder how
Nice bot!!!
I wonder how many drum robots are on LMR now?
Can you guys imagine if some way, some how, we could get all of them together playing a tune in time.
That would either be SWEET, or they would work together and take over the earth and kill us all !!! -LOL
Very nice YDM clone!
You’ve got a great YDM type bot there - definitely see Frits has made an impression The picture with a sparkler is PRICELESS!
Good work!
Welcome to the club of drumbots!
Like that fast drumming… i should try it on my own drumbot if he also can do it that fast. (My robot is bigger so his drumsticks are longer/heavier…)
Good work!
